Beijing Tongyizhong New Material Technology Corporation (TYZ previously as Beijing Tongyizhong Specialty Fiber Technology & Development Co., Ltd.) is a National High-tech Enterprise specializing in R&D, manufacture and sales of Ultra High Molecular Weight Polyethylene (UHMWPE) fiber and its composites including PE UD fabric, hard armor, helmet and soft armor etc. On the one hand, its PE UD solutions for soft amour have passed the NIJ 0101.06 Level IIIA Certificate. On the other hand, the hard insert plates made of PE UD have passed the NIJ 0101.06 Level III Certificate. As for the 2019 Police Shield Competition organized by Chinese Ministry of Public Security, TYZ has won the first place in GA 141-2010 level II Ballistic Vest and the second place in GA293-2012 Level II Helmet and GA 141-2010 Level V Insert Plate. TYZ, subordinated to State Development & Investment Corporation (SDIC) , was established in 1999 with a registered capital of 225 million RMB (STOCK CODE:688722). Through 20 years’ fast development, TYZ has become world-famous as a high-performance fiber supplier, and builds up its reputation for ballistic solutions.

TYZ has 3 manufacturing factories (2 in Shandong province and 1 in Beijing city) and 2 R&D centers in Beijing. Moreover, TYZ has created an excellent enterprise team in the past 20 years. There are nearly 700 employees, including 74 R&D technicians and about 30 of them are masters or doctors. By the end of 2019, the company has applied for 90 patents with 61 patents granted, including 27 invention patents and 16 PCT patents.
